School was never like this! Want to buy a home and get paid to learn how to buy and take care of a home? This is a local program given through United Neighbors at 808 Harrison and the City of Davenport to assist first time buyers to purchase a home in Davenport. You must attend the dream classes which are usually held on Monday nights at 7 P M at 808 N Harrison Street in Davenport. There are five classes. Occasionally, 2 half day Saturday classes are held that teaches the five classes. The property must be inspected by the Dream Program and the cost to the Seller is $70. For taking the courses you will be normally given $300 up to $1000 towards home acquisition depending on need, the property and money available. There may be additional money available to fix up a home. Worse case, how often have you been able to make $50 an hour legally. I have used this program with many clients. If you qualify, you can't beat it. Even if you do not qualify for the grant, you may want to take the courses. After taking the course, you will be better prepared to purchase a home and take care of it. The program is to help lower to medium income buyers into a home.
